China-US freight rates are 75% higher than the summer rates. Why is this happening? Carriers have cut their sailings due to Lack of demand. The larger importers already stocked up due to the US-China trade war. The trade tariff currently stands at 10%. January 1, 2019 Will ring in a 25% tariff from China.
